Before founding Black Hawk Entertainment, Tracy was an 18-year broadcast television veteran most recently as a marketing producer at KUTV Television.  His background is as a long-format programming producer, commercial production producer/photographer & editor, news marketing writer/producer & editor.  Tracy’s reputation as being on the cutting edge of video production technology is undisputed in the market.  From project conception to final product delivery, Tracy is an expert you can count on.

At the heart of Black Hawk Entertainment’s team is Shane Smith.  Shane is a veteran of a variety of industries, which gives him a broad understanding of business.  If Shane is on a task, you can count on it happening quickly, efficiently and honestly.  From producing, directing and set lighting to hospitality, he keeps the wheels turning on our projects.  In addition to his production skills, Shane is a fully licensed CDL operator and is also our Safety Director. 

Shauna Hafterson-Smith

Shauna is regarded as one of the premiere art designers in the region.  From logo design to print design, to amazing motion graphic animations, her work is among the best.  Her designs have been the creative muscle in countless award-winning television productions.  In addition to her responsibilities at Black Hawk Entertainment, Shauna is the full-time art director at ABC 4 & CW30 TV.  She is responsible for the visual branding of all locally produced programming on both of these stations.

Prior to joining the Black Hawk Entertainment team, Scott was a 15-year broadcast television veteran, most recently as the Creative Services Director at ABC 4 & CW30 TV, overseeing and producing marketing, branding and commercial production.  He has been recognized nationally as a top marketing & video production professional.  For writing, producing and photography, he has been honored with 24 Emmy Nominations, 7 Emmy Awards, 4 Promax International Awards, 25 National Telly Awards and more.

Brian Gerber

Photographer-Visual Stylist-One World Media

Brian is our high end photography expert. He also shoots video, and works in post production.  He is an expert with lighting.  And we don’t think there are too many folks out there who can photograph a woman like Brian.

Toby Seljaas

Audio Engineering-SIS Records

Toby is an LA trained audio engineer and record producer. He has worked with a lot of folks, his unique way of blending digital and analogue techniques to create signature sound is amazing. Toby also writes music, and can rip the riffs out of a guitar himself.
